\"eric-booker-sm\"BALTIMORE, MD \u2013 Eric Booker, the Assistant Commissioner for Code Enforcement \u2013 Inspections for Baltimore City\u2019s Department of Housing and Community Development, recently joined the Board of Directors for Humanim<\/a>. Humanim is a not-for-profit organization that was founded over forty years ago to provide services for individuals facing barriers to employment living within the Baltimore\/Washington region. Annually, the organization invests in the future of over 4,500 individuals by providing services within three focus areas: Workforce Development<\/a>, Clinical Services<\/a>, and\u00a0Community Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Booker brings to the board a wealth of experiences gained throughout his extensive career. In his present role as Assistant Commissioner for Code Enforcement \u2013 Inspections for Baltimore City\u2019s Department of Housing and Community Development, Booker is responsible for the overall management and operation of Baltimore Housing’s Code Enforcement Division. This office enforces the city’s housing, zoning, building and related codes. Recently the division was reorganized and restructured to increase efficiency while making it more accessible to Baltimore residents.<\/p>\n

Upon his selection, Mr. Booker indicated that \u201cI am very much looking forward to serving on the board of Humanim. As a resident of Baltimore, where Humanim has a major presence, I hope to support the great work of the organization throughout our city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Booker is a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, and received his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration from Howard University, and his Masters degree in Management and Finance from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
