\nThank you to the Arc Maryland and the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council for selecting Humanim as a recipient of a COVID-19 grant! With this funding, Humanim was able to purchase tablets, games, bean bags, playing cards, and coloring\/painting supplies for individuals with I\/DD in our residential programs.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this contribution, the often isolating effects of social distancing can be mitigated through both old fashioned and teleconferencing technologies. These items help to encourage individuals to participate in organized games and activities and allow them to continue engaging with peers and families.
